Ballet Style + Black Swan + Puma En Pointe

This time of year, I always need my hit of ballet-style dressing. Pale pink, black, and grey with a bit of edge (more Black Swan than Ballerina Barbie).

I’m loving the new En Pointe Collection by Puma.

The pinks, blacks, and greys are seriously great.

Natalie Portman gives serious style inspiration courtesy of Amy Westcott and Rodarte. How great is this photo!

I love Westcott’s vision for Nina:

As expected, they brought back the ballerina wrap to J. Crew and it’s on sale. The pink is lovely!

If you hop to it, you might be able to get a ballet-style tulle skirt on sale for $45. The key to success with this one is pairing it with something simple like a black fitted t-shirt.

Nothing too puffy or biker-y unless you want to channel Dancers circa 1987.

Speaking of inspired style, did you catch Kate with Norway’s Princess Mette-Marit? As the media has pointed out, they have seriously Frozen style. Stunning.

  1. I was just talking to Gabby today about how she could wear the pink tulle spaghetti strap dress I bought her for Christmas during the day… add a cropped Brora cardigan of course! Loved the pictures from Norway, I really want to go there. xx

  2. I would love a pair of pink Puma trainers! Here's hoping they appear in Australia some time soon, as my trainers are definitely past their use-by. I enjoyed the Kate in Norway photos very much, she looked just beautiful in that blue coat against the white snow.
